IMPACT
At Nedo Soccer Club, we believe soccer can open doors far beyond the field. Through strong community partnerships, we help provide youth with a safe place to belong, the support to grow, and the opportunity to pursue their full potential.

Education is a cornerstone for the Obonyos (Victor and his wife Dia – active members at Nedo) , and one of their passion projects is supporting a high school in Victor’s ancestral village. While he attended some of the best schools in Kenya, education in this rural community lags behind urban areas like Nairobi. Secondary school is not free in Kenya, and previously, students in his village had to walk seven miles—two hours one way—to reach the nearest school. For many families, it was out of reach. Instead of making the trek to school, teens were working locally on farms, going to cities to work as domestic help or becoming young brides.
Kowet Secondary School started when local parents, many of whom are subsistence farmers, banded together to provide expanded educational opportunities for their children. The school is a game changer for the 500 youth who attend.

On the shores of Lake Victoria in Mwanza, Tanzania, soccer is opening doors for young boys and girls to dream, grow, and belong. With 85 young athletes — including 25 girls and 60 boys from U8 to U18 — Nedo Tanzania is creating far more than a soccer program. It is building confidence, community, and opportunity for children who deserve the chance to believe in a brighter future.
